About Acme India Industries Limited
ACME India Industries operates in the Indian railway rolling stock sector, focusing on the design, manufacture and warranty maintenance of railway coach interiors, primarily through tender-based business.
The company provides turnkey furnishing solutions for new railway coaches, refurbishment, upgradation and conversion of old coaches, and upgradation of toilet facilities. It also manufactures and supplies railway coach components. Since 2017, it has completed 28 turnkey furnishing projects covering 1,610 coaches; since its first refurbishment contract in 2018, it has refurbished and upgraded 1,888 coaches; and it has completed 10,948 toilet-upgradation units.
ACME has footprints across 16 railway zones and has executed 28 different coach variants. It operates a manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, covering over 92,000 sq. ft., with laboratory and testing equipment, and has an in-house design and product-development team. Its manufactured products include Braille signage, FRP products and sanitary ware made of aluminium polymer composite, while supplied products include epoxy flooring, DGFRP, doors, seats and berths, fire-barrier decorative coatings and hygiene-related products.
As of June 30, 2026, the company’s order book for services and products to Indian Railways was ₹737.97 crore across 40 orders. Toilet upgradation represented 46.9% of the order book, supply to private clients 31.04%, refurbishment/upgradation/conversion 9.1%, turnkey furnishing 8.5% and supply to Indian Railways 4.4%. The company also states that it secured initial orders worth ₹27 crore on entering the repair segment.
Revenue from Indian Railways was ₹123.06 crore in FY26, representing 46.7% of total revenue, which was 88% in FY24. In FY26, turnkey furnishing contributed 8.29% of revenues, which was 58.5% in FY24, while refurbishment/upgradation/conversion contributed 9.4%, and upgradation of toilet 22.04%. Supply became the largest contributor with 53.2% of FY26 revenue, up from 15.01% in FY24, while others contributed 7.03%.
