You can add funds to your US Wallet from your registered bank account through the Upstox app.

Before you begin:

• Ensure that your bank account is registered with Upstox.

• Keep your bank's Net Banking credentials or other supported authentication method ready.

• Funds are added to your US Wallet in USD after the INR-to-USD conversion.

• The fund addition process generally takes 3–5 business days.

Steps to add funds to your US Wallet:

Step 1. Open the Upstox app.

Step 2. Tap Funds on the Home screen.

Step 3. Select US Wallet and tap Add Funds.

Step 4. Enter the amount you want to add in INR.

Review the estimated USD amount and the applicable exchange rate displayed on the screen.

Step 5. Select your registered bank account and continue.

Step 6. Review the bank/payment partner page and confirm your details.

Review the applicable Foreign Outward Remittance Terms and Conditions and accept the required Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Step 7. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number linked to your bank account.

Step 8. Select an available two-factor authentication method.

Step 9. Complete the bank authentication using the required credentials.

Step 10. Once the payment is initiated, you will be redirected to the Upstox fund-addition status screen.

Funds can currently be added using the following supported banks:

HDFC, ICICI, Axis and IDFC

What happens after the fund addition is initiated?

Once the transaction is initiated, you can view its status in the Upstox app.

The status may include:

• Transaction initiated

• Deposit approval pending

• Funds credited to US Wallet

You will be notified when the applicable stages are completed.

You can also track the fund-addition status from the Funds section of the Upstox app.

How long does it take for funds to be credited to my US Wallet?

The fund addition generally takes 3–5 business days.
