Using Cashless MTF involves two steps:

Pledge your holdings to avail margin. Place your MTF order using pledged margin + broker funding.

Step A – Pledge your holdings:

1. Log in to the Upstox app using your 6-digit PIN or biometrics.

2. Tap the Upstox icon at the top-right corner. Go to ‘My Account’.

3. Select Margin Pledge from the Actions menu.

4. Review your transaction details, holdings available for pledging, and eligible scrips.

5. Select the shares and enter the quantity you want to pledge.

6. Click ‘Apply’.

7. Verify details and click Submit Request.

8. You will be redirected to the CDSL portal → enter OTP → click Verify.

9. After verification, close the tab to return to the app.

Once approved, the pledged margin is credited to your account.

Step B – Place a Cashless MTF Buy Order:

1. Log in to your Upstox account.

2. Go to ‘My Lists’ and select an eligible MTF scrip.

3. Tap Buy and select Delivery as the product type.

4. You will see a checkbox → Buy using MTF for XXX/share via MTF under Regular order

• Alternatively, go to the MTF tab, enter order details, and tap ‘Review Buy Order’.

5. On the order summary page, review pledged margin used + broker funding → tap ‘Submit Order’.

6. Track your order in Portfolio → Positions → MTF tab.
