How to unpledge the pledged shares?

To unpledge, pledged shares on Mobile app, follow these steps:


Step 1: Login to your account.


Step 2: Click on the Upstox icon and select 'My account.'


Step 3: Select ‘Actions’ and click on ‘Margin Pledge.’


Step 4: Click on ‘Unpledge shares.’



Step 5: Select the shares and quantity and click on ‘Unpledge.’


Step 6: A confirmation page will appear.



Step 7: You can check the status under ‘Transaction History’ from the ‘Unpledge requests’ tab.



Additional Notes:

  • Unpledge requests are processed by 8.00 AM on the same trading day and shares will be available before trading starts.
  • The cost of unpledging is ₹20 + GST per scrip.
  • If your shares are pledged, you will have to unpledge the share before applying for Buyback.
