Priti International

Priti International Ltd is an Indian furniture and lifestyle company, offering interior collections for homes and offices. The company is located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It also specialises in creating handicrafts and furniture made of textiles, metal and wood. Furniture constitutes 90-95% of the company’s product portfolio.

In 2018, the company made its debut on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). With a market capitalisation of over ₹250 crore (as on February 27, 2024), Priti International share price has gained over 90% in last three years. Business operations

Priti International also engages in upcycling, recycling and repurposing different raw materials, such as wood and metal, into distinctive and functional products. Its wide range of products includes handbags, travel bags, backpacks, rugs, solid wooden and metal furniture, cushions, pillow and carpets.

Priti International was founded in 2005 with a single factory and a small team of employees. Operating for over 17 years now, this family-owned business serves both domestic and international clientele. The company currently exports its products to the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, and other countries.

In Jodhpur, Priti International operates three manufacturing and workshop facilities. The company employs more than 250 people, and its product range exceeds 750 items.

The company offers a wide range of furniture styles, that date from the Victorian era to the 60s, including French colonial, country and Danish minimalist designs. Their inventory comprises various furniture pieces, including rustic, contemporary and distinctive items, such as old-world Mughal and Rajput pieces, mid-century modern retro and industrial products. It also sells a variety of recycled goods, old fabrics, artwork, military memorabilia and collectibles.

While it caters primarily to the retail market, the company also extends its offerings to project-based merchants and other business properties through Priti International Ltd Project and Hospitality division. This division of the company specialises in meeting project-specific needs by offering furniture collections in completely customisable sizes and fabric choices. These are made using premium materials like metal, solid wood and silk.

The company launched Priti Home, an online wooden furniture store, in FY23, to serve customer demands for furniture for their homes and offices. In addition, the company opened an offline store in Bengaluru, Karnataka, to strengthen its position in the offline retail sector.

Priti International is also in the process of developing a vintage furniture e-auction site with the aim of auctioning rare and period pieces. Initially, the platform will feature the company's own inventory, starting with approximately 500 items.

Product Range

Living Room Furniture: This collection includes sideboards, coffee tables and sofas.

Bedroom Furniture: As the name suggests, consists of beds, cabinets and other necessities.

Dining Room Furniture: This includes sideboards, tables and seats to enhance dining experiences.

Office Furniture: It is meant for contemporary office spaces, and it includes desks, seats, filing cabinets, among other products.

Custom Furniture: Includes bespoke and made-to-order furniture pieces for a unique addition to any space.

Financial highlights

– Priti International’s revenue in FY23 was ₹83 crore, compared to ₹57 crore in the previous fiscal year. – The company’s net profit in FY23 was ₹7 crore, compared to ₹4 crore in FY22. – Priti International’s earnings per share (EPS) was ₹6.5 in FY23, compared to ₹4.2 in FY22. – The EBITDA was ₹10 crore in FY23, compared to ₹6 crore in FY22.
