Pricol Limited is headquartered in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The company has 8 manufacturing plants across Coimbatore, Manesar, Pantnagar, Pune, Satara and Sricity. It has one manufacturing plant in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company manages its global operations through its 3 international offices in Japan, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore. The company is currently operating in more than 45 countries across the globe.
The company is a preferred partner to many leading automotive OEMs worldwide. Pricol Limited caters to 7 vehicle segments with more than 2000 product variants. It caters to leading automotive OEMs in two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, farm equipment and off-road vehicles.
Pricol Limited has 2 product verticals- driver information & connected vehicle solutions and actuation, control & fluid management systems. Under driver information & connected vehicle solutions, the company provides e-cockpits and TFT clusters. It manufactures instrument clusters like the heads up display (hud) and telematics. It fabricates sensors including reed type fuel level sensor and TFR type fuel level sensor. It is identified to offer low, mid and high battery management systems.
Pricol Limited manufactures and sells a diverse range of products under its actuation, control & fluid management systems variant. The company offers products like fuel pump module, disc brakes, oil pumps, water pumps, electrical oil pump, fuel feed pump, electrical coolant, variable displacement oil pumps, wiping systems, cabin tilting systems and electronic purge valve.
Pricol Limited has an in-house touchscreen robot-based inspection setup and an aluminium prole-cutting machine. The company has an in-house developed thin film transistor (TFT) Cluster assembly line. It offers a variable displacement oil pump assembly line and a fully automated surface-mount technology (SMT) & printed circuit board (PCB) assembly line. It accommodates around 4-axis robots for the electronic driver information solutions assembly line. The company has set up an electrical discharge machining (EDM) sparking machine and plastic component manufacturing shop (PCMS) for its tool room.
Financial highlights
Consolidated total income increased to ₹1,963.14 crore in FY23 from ₹1,553.51 crore in FY22, marking 27% growth year-on-year. Its EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation) surged 23% YoY to ₹233.06 crore in FY23. The company’s profit after tax (PAT) grew 144% year-on-year to ₹124.68 crore in FY23 compared to ₹51 crore in FY22. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹10.23 in FY23 as against ₹4.19 in FY22.
