Cyient, earlier known as Infotech Enterprises Limited, is a global technology company. It was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Hyderabad. Its services are in engineering, manufacturing, data analytics and networks and operations verticals.

Cyient Limited deals in engineering solutions, including product development and life-cycle support, along with process, network and content engineering. The company operates through two main segments.
Firstly, its network and content engineering (N&CE) segment, also recognised as utilities, telecom and content, caters specifically to customers in industries like power, gas, telecom, transportation and local government. Within this segment, Cyient delivers services such as data conversion, data maintenance, photogrammetry and a spectrum of information technology services.
Secondly, the engineering, manufacturing and industrial products (EMI) segment focuses on industries such as aerospace, automotive, off-highway transportation, industrial and commercial products.
The sectoral revenue split of the company is 31% from transportation (aero and rail), 28% from sustainability (mining, utilities and energy), 23% from connectivity (fiber and wireless) and 18% from new growth areas (automotive semiconductors, health care)
Cyient's product CyMedge accelerates innovation in healthcare devices, while its SDX focuses on automotive and mobility advancements. The company's Urban Air Mobility addresses urban challenges, PlatformX facilitates seamless integration of cloud technologies and CyFAST system offers adaptable testing solutions using AI.
Cyient provides services and solutions to more than 300 customers, including 29 Fortune 500 companies. Its strength lies in its team of over 15,000 associates spread across 19 countries.
Cyient Limited underwent two major acquisitions in the financial year 2022-23 that improved its portfolio and expertise. Citec, headquartered in Finland, specialises in plant and process engineering, decarbonisation and sustainable technologies, enhancing Cyient's ability to support customers in achieving their ESG objectives.
On the other hand, Celfinet, based in Portugal, focuses on wireless communications, end-to-end network planning, and performance optimisation services. This improved Cyient's wireless engineering capabilities.
Cyient Limited has had a transformative journey through strategic alliances and expansions. In the mid-90s, it made a 128 KBPS Satellite Link from STP in Hyderabad. Partnerships in the late 90s with APTA Conseil of France and Germany's OpenShop Internet Software improved the company's software product development.
Cyient inaugurated a significant US geospatial production facility in Maryland in 2005 as a result of collaborative efforts with Frostburg State University and Maryland entities.
The subsequent years witnessed Cyient's global reach expand, marked by branch office openings in Malaysia and a significant rebranding in 2014. The company's growth continued with the establishment of design centres in Bengaluru.
Cyient further solidified its position in the industry in 2022 by introducing an AI-powered framework for automated system and software testing.
