Investment objective
The fund of funds aims to generate returns for investors by investing in a combination of Credit Suisse index funds and exchange traded fund (ETF). These funds will collectively aim to track MSCI World Index. This index is a developed market index which consists of 23 countries and makes up 56% of the world’s GDP.
By investing in HDFC Developed World Index FoF, investors will get exposure to diverse economies and markets including the US, Japan and Europe. These markets are home to some of the big global companies such as Alphabet, Novartis, Philips, Toyota and Siemens.
Besides benefiting from global growth opportunities, this fund also works as a hedge against rupee depreciation. At the same time, it mitigates the single country risks.
