About TULSYAN NEC LTD
Tulsyan NEC Limited is an India-based thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) manufacturer. The Company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of TMT bars, coal-based power plants and synthetic woven fabrics and sacks. The Company operates through three segments: Steel Division, Synthetic Division and Power Division. The products offered by the Steel Division include TMT bars, sponge iron, billets, and ingots. The products offered through Synthetic Division include polypropylene (PP) woven sacks, FIBC and woven fabric. Its Power Division includes a thermal power plant and windmills. Its TMT bars are used in the construction sector and the plastic products cater to the packaging needs of various industries, such as cement, fertilizers, food grains and sugar, among others. The Company has manufacturing plants in Chennai (Gummudipoondi) and Bangalore (Doddaballapura). The Company’s subsidiary is Chitrakoot Steel & Power P Ltd.
