The Company’s segments include building products, Textiles and power generation from windmills. The Company caters mainly to the domestic markets. The Company is also engaged in the sale of surplus electricity generated from its windmills. The Company manufactures fiber cement boards, insulation boards of vegetable fiber, straw, or wood waste, agglomerated with cement & other mineral binders. It also offers electric power generation using other non-conventional sources. Its plants are located in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and others. Its subsidiaries include Sudharsanam Investments Limited, Sri Ramco Lanka (Private) Limited, and Sri Ramco Roofings Lanka (Private) Limited. Sudharsanam Investments Limited provides investments in securities.
