About Rajshree Sugar & Chem
Rajshree Sugar & ChemRajshree Sugars & Chemicals Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the sugar, distillery, power and biotechnology business. The Company operates through three segments: Sugar, Cogeneration and Distillery. The Company has installed downstream industries for producing alcohol and cogeneration of power by using byproducts of sugar industry, such as molasses and bagasse. It has two distilleries with total production capacity of 125 kilo liter per day (KLPD) to produce rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol, and anhydrous alcohol. The Company has three cogeneration plants with high pressure boilers and extraction cum condensing Turbines which Generates 57.5 megawatts of Green Power and exports 41 megawatts of power to the TANGEDCO grid. The Company has three sugarcane-based integrated biorefinery complexes located at Varadaraj Nagar in Theni district, Mundiyampakkam in Villupuram district and Gingee in Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu.
