About Campus Activewear
Campus Activewear Ltd is a leading sports and athleisure footwear brand. It was launched in 2005 with a distinct focus on lifestyle-oriented sports and athleisure products catering to diverse customer groups. The company’s product portfolio includes a wide range of styles, colour palettes and price points.
Campus Activewear has emerged as a major player in the footwear industry with over 200 exclusive brand outlets across India. The company also offers its products through a pan-India network comprising over 15,000 multi-brand retail stores. Campus also has a presence across a dozen e-commerce platforms.
The company launched the Campus brand in 2005, with focus on athleisure and lifestyle-oriented sports range. The brand offers a wide range of products for the entire family. Through a vast retail and wholesale network, the company principally engages in the production, distribution and sale of sports and athleisure footwear.
Campus Activewear launched its initial public offering (IPO) in 2022 and subsequently it was listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.
Market capitalisation of Campus Activewear stood at over ₹8,800 crore as of January 8, 2024. Campus share price has dropped 25% in the last one year.
Business operations
The company’s product portfolio includes over 2,500 active shoe styles for customers across all age groups. During the fiscal years 2019 to 2023, the company launched over 2,800 new shoes. Of these, in fiscal year 2022-23 alone, over 300 new designs — 222 new styles for men, 64 for women and 36 for kids — were launched.

Campus Activewear’s omni-channel presence enables the company to service its customers better and expand its reach. Its pan-India distribution network allows it to reach customers anywhere in the country.
Focus on marketing:
The company employs consumer-focused tactics in place of conventional trade-led marketing. This enables customers to know about the company and its offerings across a variety of touchpoints.

The company has digitised its sales process. This facilitates effective customer service and interaction while enabling the business to adjust to changes in the market.

In FY23, the company reported a net profit of ₹11.71 crore compared to ₹10.8 crore in the preceding financial year. The company’s revenue from operations jumped to ₹1,484.25 crore in FY23, compared to ₹1,194.18 crore in FY22. The company’s EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciations and amortisation) increased to ₹256.33 crore in FY23, compared to ₹244.37 crore in the previous fiscal year. Its EBITDA margin stood at 17.3% in FY23. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) increased to 3.84 in FY23, compared to 3.57 in the previous fiscal year.
