All ITM Crude Option contracts on 15th December 2022 will be converted into Futures contracts. 

To avoid square-off, ensure that you maintain sufficient margin for the Future contracts before 10.00 PM today.

All ITM Gold, GoldM & Silver Option contracts on 24th November 2022 will be converted into Futures contracts. 

To avoid square-off, ensure that you maintain sufficient margin for the Future contracts before 10.00 PM on 24th November 2022.

All ITM Natural Gas option contracts on 23rd November 2022 will be converted into futures contracts. 

To avoid square-off, ensure that you maintain sufficient margin for the future contracts before 10.00 PM today.

On 18th November 2022 – CDSL (Central Depository Services Ltd)  faced intermittent issues due to which, there was an industry-wide impact on a few transactions.

What is the impact?

• On authorisation of MTF positions

Some of you may have seen this error ‘Your request failed due to timeout’ while trying to authorise your MTF positions yesterday, 18th November 2022. We’ll notify you with the next steps after speaking with CDSL.

• On fund withdrawals

If you have placed fund withdrawal requests on the 18th and 19th of November, there will be a delay in receiving your funds today.

• On Mutual Funds transactions

Any Mutual Funds units bought on 17th November might not be visible in your Demat account. And sell Mutual Fund transactions on 18th November might not get processed.  

• On holdings and positions
  Holdings and P&L values for orders placed yesterday, 18th November are not updated yet. Hence you’ll see yesterday’s values today. They will be updated by today’s EOD. 

Does this impact my existing trades?
Don’t worry your funds and securities are safe, there is no impact on your holdings, positions or funds. 

We’re working with CDSL to get this resolved at the earliest and we’ll notify you.

Mindtree Limited (MINDTREE) declared to the Exchange the issuance and allotment of 73 equity shares of the merged entity for every 100 Mindtree equity shares held by existing shareholders. The record date for the purpose of determining shareholders who will be applicable for this is 24th November 2022.

Due to this corporate action, keep in mind the following impact on your F&O contracts

1. All existing contracts in the underlying MINDTREE i.e. contracts with expiry dates of 24th November 2022, 29th December 2022, and 25th January 2023 shall expire on 22 November 2022 and shall be physically settled as per the mechanism specified in NCL Circular no.67/2018 (Download no. NCL/CMPT/38039) dated 15th June 2018.)
2. No contracts shall be available for trading in the above-mentioned security with effect from 23rd November 2022 onwards.
3. New strikes may be introduced in the existing contract
4. You need to maintain the full value of the MINDTREE positions contract if you wish to take the physical settlement of shares. 
5. If you don’t have sufficient fund value or stocks (in case of a short position) your MINDTREE positions will be squared off anytime after 12 PM on 22nd November 2022 on a best-effort basis.
