Vishwaraj Sugar IndustriesVishwaraj Sugar Industries Limited is an integrated sugarcane-based company. The Company is engaged in producing sugar, generating power and a molasses/sugarcane syrup-based distillery manufacturing rectified spirit, neutral spirit, and ethanol. The Company operates through five segments: Sugar, Co-generation, Distillery, Vinegar, and IML. It operates a single location sugar unit having licensed crushing capacity of approximately 11,000 tons of cane per day (TCD). In addition to sugar, it also manufactures other allied products like rectified spirits, extra-neutral spirits, natural alcohol vinegar, compost, carbon dioxide (CO2), and others. It also engaged in the generation of power for captive consumption as well as external sale. The Company’s integrated unit processes sugarcanes to produce sugar and the by-product bagasse is used to generate electricity for captive use and commercial sale, and molasses/sugarcane syrup is used to manufacture rectified spirit, ENA, and ethanol.
