Jubilant FoodWorks Limited (JFL) is a food service company that operates brands like Domino's Pizza, Dunkin' Donuts, Popeyes restaurants and Hon's Kitchen in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The company was incorporated as Domino’s Pizza India Private Limited in 1995. It was converted from a private to a public company in 1996 before finally getting its present name – Jubilant FoodWorks Limited – in 2009. The company has a network of over 18,500 Domino's stores across 397 cities in the country. It is the largest franchisee for Domino’s brand outside the US. Founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is one of the world leaders in pizza delivery, operating a network of company–owned and franchise–owned stores in the United States and international markets.
Jubilant FoodWorks entered into an agreement with IPEF and Indocean to invest in the company in 2000. The firm launched its '30 minutes or free' campaign for Domino's to great success in 2004. The campaign made the brand a household name, penetrating new markets for pizza businesses outside the metro cities. Driving the success of its food delivery business, Jubilant completed the milestone of 100 restaurants in the country.
The company launched 'pizza mania' and also began to offer pasta and choco lava cake to their customers as a side item. In 2009, it entered into a trademark licence agreement with Domino's International, giving it a non-exclusive right to use the trademarks and service marks (Domino's Trademarks) in India.
Jubilant FoodWorks achieved monthly sales of a million pizzas while further expanding its market presence. The company launched its initial public offering (IPO) in 2010.
A year later the firm entered into a multiple-unit development and franchise agreement with Dunkin' Donuts for India.
The year 2012 saw the company becoming the first food service company to launch an online ordering platform in India. The same year, Jubilant FoodWorks opened its 500th Domino’s Pizza restaurant.
Jubilant FoodWorks crossed the 600th Domino restaurant milestone with the launch of its first Pizza Theatre in New Delhi in August 2013.
By 2016, the company opened its 1000th restaurant in the country. Jubilant introduced its first homegrown brand in the Chinese cuisine segment, Hong's Kitchen, in 2019.
In 2021, the company announced the acquisition of a 32.81% equity stake in DP Eurasia NV, which owns exclusive master franchisee rights in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. A year later, Jubilant FoodWorks introduced the US chicken brand, Popeyes in India.
