DB Corp Limited is one of the largest media houses in the country with a presence across print, radio and digital segments.
The company's print business includes newspaper brands like Dainik Bhaskar (Hindi daily), Divya Marathi, DB Star, Divya Bhaskar and Saurashtra Samachar. Its radio business includes broadcasting 94.3 MY FM. The company also operates websites like dainikbhaskar.com, divyabhaskar.com, homeonline.com, moneybhaskar.com and divyamarathi.com.
DB Corp Ltd has a presence in 12 states with 61 editions in 3 different languages - Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. The company was incorporated as Multi-Tech Energy Limited in 1995 before being renamed to its present name in 2005.

DB Corp business operations
DB Corp Ltd's flagship newspapers Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Bhaskar, Saurashtra Samachar and Divya Marathi had a total readership of over 6.62 crore as per IRS 2019 Q4. The firm's Hindi newspaper was rated as the country's largest circulated multi-edition Daily, as per the Press In India Report 2017-18 prepared by the Registrar of Newspapers of India (RNI).
In 1996, Dainik Bhaskar launched its Jaipur edition in Rajasthan with a record 1.72 lakh copies, making inroads into a new market. In less than a year of its launch, the company introduced four new editions of the newspaper in the state.
The company focused on new expansion consolidating its position in Haryana. DB Corp launched the state's first newspaper to be printed within Haryana in 2000. The same year, the company introduced the Chandigarh edition of Dainik Bhaskar.
The company launched the Divya Bhaskar edition from Gujrat's Ahmedabad with a record 4.52 lakh copies on day 1. Divya Bhaskar's Ahmedabad launch has also increased the market size by almost 32%. The DB Group entered the Maharashtra market with the launch of Dainik Bhaskar's Mumbai edition in 2004. The company made its first major acquisition after taking over the business of Saurashtra Samachar. It launched its first Hindi magazine, 'AHA! Zindagi'.
Next year, the company acquired a license from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the launch of the Radio business through its subsidiary Synergy Media Entertainment Ltd.
DB Corp launched DB Gold – the first compact newspaper in Gujarati from Surat.
In 2009, the company launched its initial public offering (IPO). DB Corp announced the launch of Dainik Bhaskar newspaper from Bihar's Patna and added three new editions in the next year.
As per the Indian Readership Survey 2019 Q1 that was announced on 26th April 2019, Dainik Bhaskar was rated the number one newspaper in readership in urban India.
As per WAN IFRA, Dainik Bhaskar was ranked at 3rd Position globally, and the only newspaper from India to figure among the Top 3 newspapers.

⦁ The EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) stood at ₹ 361.1 crore in FY23 compared to ₹322.8 crore in FY22.
⦁ Its earnings per share (EPS) increased to ₹9.53 in FY23 from ₹8.12 in the last financial year.
