Kotak Mahindra Bank: Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank, one of the leading private sector lenders, rallied as much as 9.68% to ₹1,929 apiece on the NSE on Monday, January 20, as the bank on Saturday declared an encouraging set of numbers for the December quarter (Q3 FY25).

The lender reported a 10.22% rise in its December quarter consolidated net profit to ₹4,701 crore.

The total income increased to ₹16,050 crore from ₹14,096 crore in the year-ago period, while the expenses came in at ₹10,869 crore against ₹9,530 crore in Q3 FY24. READ MORE
Wipro: Shares of Wipro, the IT services company, rallied as much as 8.3% to ₹305.40 apiece on the NSE on Monday, January 20, as the company last week reported an encouraging set of numbers for the December quarter (Q3 FY25).
Wipro on Friday reported a 24.4% year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit for the quarter under review at about ₹3,354 crore.
The Bengaluru-based tech major saw its revenue from operations inch up by 0.5% to about ₹22,319 crore. READ MORE
Vodafone Idea, MTNL, Tata Teleservices: Shares of telecom companies surged on Monday, January 20, after media reports suggested that the central government is considering waiving off a substantial portion of AGR (adjusted gross revenue) dues.
Vodafone Idea Ltd shares surged as much as 14.9% to ₹10.47 apiece on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) in morning trade. Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd rallied up to 14.7% to an intraday high of ₹81.5 apiece, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) gained 13% to ₹52.9, while Bharti Airtel shares gained 1% to ₹1,644.25 apiece. Indian Hotels: Shares of Indian Hotels were trading nearly 4% lower at ₹782 apiece on the BSE.

The Tata Group's hospitality firm on Friday reported a 29% on-year jump in net profit at ₹582.32 crore for the three months ended December 2024, driven by the consolidation of air and institutional catering business.

The company's total income surged by 29% to ₹2,592 crore in the quarter under review, from ₹2,003.64 crore in the October-December quarter of the preceding fiscal year (FY24), according to a PTI report.

"We have decided to restart our supplies... for the time being. This is an interim decision in the interest of consumers, workers, and stakeholders," United Breweries said in an exchange filing.

Netweb Technologies India: Domestic IT server maker Netweb Technologies posted a 16.56% growth in profit to ₹30.32 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2024, driven by demand for artificial intelligence-related projects, the company said in a regulatory filing on Saturday.

The revenue from operations of Netweb increased by about 32% to ₹334 crore during the reported quarter from ₹253.4 crore in the December quarter of the last fiscal.

Shares of the company were trading 4.63% lower at ₹2,230 apiece on the NSE.

Kalyan Jewellers: Shares were trading over 7% higher at ₹537.55 apiece on the NSE, after a drubbing for multiple sessions.
Laxmi Dental: Shares of Laxmi Dental Ltd on Monday listed with a premium of nearly 27% against the issue price of ₹428. The stock made its debut at ₹528, a jump of 23.36% from the issue price on the BSE. It further surged 36.37% to ₹583.70.

On the NSE, it listed at ₹542, rallying 26.63%.

The initial public offer of Laxmi Dental Ltd garnered 113.97 times subscription on the closing day of bidding on Wednesday.

The initial share sale had a price band of ₹407-₹428 per share.

BLS International Services: Shares were trading 8.75% lower at ₹457.95 apiece on the NSE. BLS International is a New Delhi-based company that provides visa, passport, consular, and citizen services. The company was founded in 2005 and operates in over 66 countries across five continents.
Rallis India: Rallis India, a Tata Enterprise, on Friday reported a 54.16% year-on-year decline in net profit to ₹11 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024.

Revenue from operations witnessed a 12.70% decline during the quarter under review at ₹522 crore, compared to ₹598 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.

Shares were trading 6.8% lower at ₹269.95 apiece on the NSE.

Zomato: Shares of Zomato surged as much as 2.23% to ₹254.35 apiece on the NSE ahead of its Q3 results announcement.

Last week, Blinkit, the quick commerce market leader, said it received ₹500 crore in fresh capital infusion from its parent company Zomato, according to filings made with the Registrar of Companies (RoC) sourced via Tofler.

"The company’s board consented to the issuance of 2,537 equity shares at an issue price of ₹19,70,181 each, amounting to a total of nearly ₹500 crore, the filings showed. This brings Zomato’s total investment in its quick commerce arm to roughly ₹2,800 crore," as per news reports.
