⭐ Vodafone Idea shares surge
Shares of the telecom player rose 8.8% on Friday. This comes after its management reportedly told the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) that the company has received term sheets from potential investors for equity fund raising. Meanwhile, the open interest of its August futures contract declined 12.3%, signalling a short covering.
⭐ Sun TV hits 52-week high
Shares of Sun TV surged 3.5% to touch their 52-week high on Friday. Experts said that the success of Rajinikanth’s Jailer, which was produced by the company, could provide a boost to Sun TV’s movie distribution revenue. Meanwhile, the open interest of its August futures contract dropped 18.3%, indicating a short covering.
