The expiry date of the following contracts has been revised to Monday, 25th  September 2023 from its previous expiry date of Tuesday, 26th September

On account of Ganesh Chaturthi Trading Holiday, keep the following in mind:

• 👉 Markets will be closed on Tuesday, 19th September
• 👉 Trading will resume on Wednesday, 20th September
• 👉 MCX will also be closed on 19th September for the morning session. The second session (5 PM - 11:30 PM) will take place as usual
• 👉 Fund withdrawal requests placed after 8 AM on 18th September will be processed on 20th September
• 👉 The credit bill on 18th September will not be available for trading till 19th September

As you haven’t validated your KYC details - email ID and mobile number registered with KRA (SEBI’s KYC Registration Agency) by 1st September, your account has been temporarily blocked and frozen by CDSL.

To unblock it, please follow these steps:

👉 Visit  cvlkra.com

👉 Click the KYC inquiry section

👉 Enter your PAN and captcha details

👉 Click ‘Submit’ to fetch your status

👉  Refer to the ‘KRA’ column to find out the name of your KRA where KYC is registered:
It will be one of these 5 - CVL KRA, KARVY KRA, NDML KRA, DOTEX KRA, CAMS KRA

👉 Now where your KYC is registered, go to that website and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your mobile number and email ID

• CVL KRA

• KARVY KRA

• NDML KRA

• DOTEX KRA

• CAMS KRA

For example if KYC is registered with NDML KRA then you need to visit the above mentioned NDML link to verify your mobile number and email ID

Once done, please share a screenshot of the validated status with us by raising a ticket. After this it will take around 2 business days for the update to reflect on Upstox and you can resume trading.

Note: If your KYC details have already been validated, you can ignore this message.

With effect from 4th September 2023, please note the following changes while trading in illiquid Options:

• 👉 You will not be allowed to trade in Stock Option contract with a volume less than 100 
• 👉 Following far OTM/DEEP ITM Stock Options contracts will be blocked for trading:

• 🔸 For current month expiry: Contracts with strike price 20% away from Spot Price (i.e LTP of underlying stock)
  
• 🔸 For next month expiry: Contracts with strike price 10% away from Spot Price (i.e LTP of underlying stock)
• 🔸 For far away monthly expiry: Contracts with strike price 5% away from Spot Price (i.e LTP of underlying stock)

We've noticed fake Telegram Channels such as ‘Upstox Data Tutor’ falsely claiming affiliation with Upstox. Please note that these channels are not official and Upstox has no connection with them.

To ensure your account's security, follow these guidelines:

⛔️ Never share your passwords/PINs

🔄 Keep your app updated for the latest fixes

🛡️ Stay cautious of phishing emails, messages, or calls asking for your account details

🔒 Upstox will never request your password or PIN

🚫 We never solicit money via links or cash

⚠️ Avoid clicking on suspicious links or downloading attachments from unknown sources

📱 Secure your devices with strong passwords or biometric locks

🔐 Don't use public Wi-Fi when accessing your Upstox app.

🕵️‍♂️ Regularly monitor your account for any unusual activity; report such incidents to Upstox

Remember, Upstox and its representatives will never ask you to transfer money via any link or make cash payments.
