National General Industries Limited is engaged in manufacturing and selling of steel. The Company’s segments include steel and other. The steel segment includes production and marketing operations for rolling of steel products. The other segment includes investment activities. Its products include steel rounds, steel squares, and steel flats. It produces hot rolled steel rounds with a range which covers 18 millimeters to 200 millimeters in diameter. Its grades include mild steel, carbon steel, and alloy steel. Its steel flats contain various alloying elements like chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, manganese, silicon, boron, and more. Its steel flats are used in manufacturing of components like pliers and spanners. Its steel squares are used by bright bar manufacturers, hand tool industry, earthmoving industry, fasteners, ordinances factories, railways, forgings, auto components (four-wheelers, two wheelers & commercial vehicles) and various heavy engineering industries.
