LACTOSE INDIA LTDLactose (India) Limited is an India-based pharmaceutical company engaged in the business of manufacturing, trading and carrying out job work and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. The Company is principally engaged in the manufacturing of lactose monohydrate. The Company specializes in the manufacturing of excipients (lactose/liquid color coatings), lactulose, solid dosage forms and liquid dosage forms. It manufactures disaccharide lactulose. Lactulose is used in the treatment of constipation, hepatitis, encephalopathy, intestinal microflora, dental care, diabetes, chronic liver disease and as an effective prebiotic. It also manufactures dry granulated, film and lacquer coated tablets. The Company is also engaged in exporting uncoated and blister packed solid dose forms. The Company's plant is located at Taluka Savli, Vadodara, Gujarat. Its lactose manufacturing facility has a capacity of 10000 metric tons/annum with an average capacity of 30 metric tons/ day.
