About DECCAN GOLD MINES LTD
Deccan Gold Mines Limited is an India-based gold exploration company. The Company operates through a single segment, which is Gold Exploration and Mining. Its projects include Jonnagiri Gold Project, Andhra Pradesh, India; Altyn Tor Gold Project, Kyrgyzstan; Syrjala-Kalevala Gold Project, Finland; DGTPL Prospecting Licenses, Tanzania, and Bhalukona-Jamnidih Ni, Cr and Associated PGE Block, Chhattisgarh, India. The Company, within the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, has explored several regions spanning approximately 6,574 square kilometers (sq. kms.) These regions include Dharwar Shimoga Belt, Hutti-Maski Belt, Mangalur Schist Belt and Ramagiri Schist Belt. The Jonnagiri project's gold mineralization in the mining lease area is distributed in four blocks: East, West, South and North Blocks. The Company's Dharwar Shimoga Belt project area forms part of Archaean Western Dharwar Craton in the State of Karnataka. It also provides mineral exploration consultancy services.
