About CHAMAN METALLICS LIMITED
Chaman Metallics Limited is an India-based company, which operates as a steel producer. The Company is primarily engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling direct reduced iron, which is sponge iron. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sale of iron and steel. Its segments include Sponge Iron, Ferro, and Power. Through its sponge iron business, the Company caters to the metallic requirements of steel producers in selected geographies. During the production of sponge iron, a solid waste is produced as a by-product called dolochar, which is used in power generation. It operates in various segments of steel, such as Sponge Iron, Ferro alloys, MS Ingots, and re-rolled products. Its manufacturing facility is located in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, spans over 63 acres, and features two rotary kilns with a combined annual capacity of approximately 72,000 metric tons (MT) for production of sponge iron.
