Difference between term insurance And life insurance

Life is uncertain, and we want to ensure our dependents continue living a comfortable life, at least financially, even after our passing. Life insurance is an instrument that helps create a financial corpus that can be useful in the future. Life insurance can broadly be divided into two types - term insurance and life insurance. Are you curious to know the difference between term insurance and life insurance? Let us first understand what term and life insurance plans are! We will then look at the differences between them.

Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) Scheme 2023

Accidents are possibly the most tragic catastrophe that can occur to a family. It is unfortunate to happen to any family member, but more so to the breadwinners. If something serious happens to the breadwinners, then the entire family suffers. And, in case of an absence of apt insurance, the consequences can be dire! Hence, it is imperative that at least the breadwinner is insured against any accident. It is not that difficult for the middle and upper classes to afford apt insurance. However, poor people tend to find it difficult to spare a substantial amount for their insurance. And the irony is that it is them who need the insurance most. Most middle-class and affluent families have savings that can take care of them during a crisis, but the poor have little to no financial security.

Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) 2023

The Ayushman Bharat Campaign was launched by the government with the intention of improving healthcare in the country and providing primary health to its citizens. Two schemes are covered under this campaign. One of them is Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana was a scheme that was launched under the Ayushman Bharat in the year 2018 in the district of Ranchi by Shri Narender Modiji, the PM of India. The scheme was formerly known as the National Health Protection Mission. The scheme provides a cover of INR 5 Lakh for every family for a year for hospitalization of tertiary and secondary treatments across private and public hospitals in India to greater than 10.75 crores of families across India. These families form the lower 40% of the population of India. The Government gives the full expense of the scheme, and the cost is jointly shared by State and Central Governments.

National Savings Certificate (NSC) Interest Rate 2023

We consider mutual funds, equity, and stocks, as the only investment channels. But are these financial instruments accessible to all? In India, banking services are still not available to many. Here comes the post office. Post Offices in India are widespread, and their roots have reached even the remotest areas in the nation. And they offer banking facilities like savings accounts and investment schemes to every Indian citizen, irrespective of their socio-economic strata. National Savings Certificate or NSC is an investment scheme offered by Indian post offices. Backed by the Indian government, this investment scheme is secure and low-risk. This perfect savings policy with decent returns is accessible to every Indian citizen except NRIs (Non-resident Indians) and HUFs (Hindu Undivided Families).
