Most renewable energy stocks advanced on Tuesday, February 25. Shares of Waaree Energies, NTPC Green Energy, Premier Energies, Adani Green Energy and ACME Solar rose.
On the other hand, NTPC Green Energy shares were down.
On February 19, the company received an order for a supply of 362.5 MWp solar modules from Khaba Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Engie India.
The supply of modules to the domestic entity is scheduled to start in FY 2025-26.
On Monday, the state-owned power giant said it has inked a pact with Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd (MPPGCL) to collaborate in the renewable power sector to develop up to 20 gigawatts (GW) projects in the state.
"MPPGCL and NGEL shall jointly work for the formation of a Joint Venture Company (JVC) to meet the Renewable Generation Obligation (RGO) of Madhya Pradesh Generating Company and Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) of Madhya Pradesh DISCOMs," the company said in an exchange filing.
In an exchange filing on Monday, the company informed that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Six B Ltd, has operationalized an incremental 67 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
"With the commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 11,983.1 MW," it said.
Its market capitalisation stands at ₹42,688.33 crore.
