As many as 39 stocks hit their lowest level in 52 weeks on Tuesday, January 21, on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) amid a selloff in broader markets.

The NIFTY 50 index was down 121 points, or 0.5%, to 23,223.80 at 12:56 pm. The BSE SENSEX also fell 445 points, or 0.6%, to 76,628.23.

The volatility index, or India VIX, jumped 5.3% to 17.29. All the sectoral indices were trading in the red, except the FMCG index.

Here’s a look at the major stocks that touched their 52-week low levels on Tuesday:

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd (52-week low: ₹556.25)

Shares of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd fell 1.8% on Tuesday to hit their 52-week low of ₹556.25 apiece on the NSE. The stock is down almost 21% in the past six months, while declining only 3% over the last one-year period.

Last week, mobility technology solutions provider Sona BLW Precision announced that it has inked an initial pact with TIHAN-IIT Hyderabad for connected autonomous and electric technologies for drones, automated guidance vehicles and electric vertical take-off and landing. The memorandum of understanding will enable the two entities to cooperate, synergise strengths and support each other in the areas of autonomous vehicle technologies.

DAM Capital Advisors Ltd (52-week low: ₹318.35)

Shares of the merchant bank and SEBI registered stockbroker DAM Capital Advisors Ltd declined as much as 3.7% on Tuesday to hit their all-time low of ₹318.35 apiece amid broader market decline. The share price is down 7.8% in the past five trading sessions and over 23% in the last one month.

At the fresh 52-week low level, the stock has declined more than 19% from its listing price.

Shares of Dam Capital Advisors made an impressive stock market debut on December 27, 2024, listing at ₹393 apiece on the NSE. The stock was listed at a premium of 38.9% over the issue price of ₹283 per share.

Acme Solar Holdings (52-week low: ₹208.53)

Shares of Acme Solar Holdings dropped another 2.6% on Tuesday to hit their 52-week low of ₹208.53 apiece on the NSE. The renewable energy stock extended losses for the third straight day. In the last five sessions the stock has dropped over 6%. The share price is also trading 16% lower since its listing in November 2024 at ₹251 per share on the NSE.

The recent correction in ACME Solar shares is seen as a part of selloff in the broader equity markets. The stock price had peaked in early-December on announcements that the company secured multiple new renewable energy projects.
