⭐** Wipro asks employees to return to office**
IT major ** Wipro** is calling its employees back to the office. The company said its offices will be open for four days a week starting from 10 October and encourage its employees to work from office at least three days a week.
CCI gives nod to Zee-Sony deal
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its nod to the proposed merger of ** Zee Entertainment** and Sony Networks. As per market experts, the merger will create business synergies between the two companies. The combined entity will be a $10 billion TV enterprise with total viewership share of 24% and revenue share of 27%.
⭐** Low rural demand hits FMCG sales**
As per a new industry report, subdued rural demand affected FMCG sales in September. Overall, sales declined by 9.6% compared to the previous month because of a decline in farm yield and household income due to inconsistent rainfall. Rural sales accounts for nearly 70% of total FMCG sales.
