Shares of HDFC Bank fell over 3% today, their biggest 1-day fall in 4 months. This comes after the bank warned that its merger with HDFC Ltd would hit its key financial metrics, including margins and bad loan ratios.

⭐ Power Grid hits all-time high

Shares of Power Grid Corporation of India hit an all-time high at ₹205.95 today. The company announced its plan to issue non-convertible bonds, which be discussed in the meeting to be held on 25 September.

⭐ Infosys ties up with NVIDIA

After Tata and RIL, global AI giant NVIDIA has joined hands with Infosys. The two companies will help global enterprises with generative AI applications and solutions.

⭐ Blue Star shines on QIP plan

Shares of Blue Star zoomed 15% intraday after its board approved raising ₹1,000 crore through a qualified institutional placement (QIP). The company intends to use these funds to cut debt and invest in growth.

⭐ Oil prices fall before Fed decision

Oil prices slumped nearly 1% on Wednesday ahead of the US Fed interest rate decision. Investors were wary of the uncertainty about the rate hike and its impact on energy demand.
