Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana was introduced in the state budget on 18 June, 2024. This scheme was designed to offer financial assistance to women of the state by providing ₹1,500 every month. The state government dedicated a provision of ₹36,000 crore to this scheme for the year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria for Ladki Bahin Yojana

Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana is a great initiative that could lessen the financial burden on women and help empower them. The following are the eligibility criteria for the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana.

  • The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra to qualify for this scheme.
  • The candidate should be a female between the ages of 21 and 65 years.
  • Any woman who is single, married, widowed, divorced, or needy in the family can apply for this scheme.
  • The woman applying for the scheme should have their own bank account linked to their Aadhaar card.
  • The annual income of the candidate’s family should not exceed ₹2.5 Lakhs.
  • The candidates can be an outsourced employee, contract worker or voluntary worker with an income up to ₹2.5 lakhs.

How to Apply for Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana Online?

Mukhayamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana was introduced to help empower women and can be applied online. Here’s how you can apply for the Mukhayamnatri Ladki Bahin Yojana Online.

Step 1: Go to the Mukhayamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana website.

Step 2: Click on ‘Applicant Log in’ and sign in or create an account by entering your mobile number, password and captcha.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Application of Mukhayamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana’.

Step 4: You will be asked to enter your Aadhaar number and click ‘Verify’.

Step 5: Enter the details asked and all the required documents and click on ‘Submit’. Once your application is submitted, you will receive the application ID via SMS.

Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC Process

To get the benefits under the Mukhayamnatri Ladki Bahin Yojana, the beneficiaries should complete the e-KYC through the official website. To complete your Ladki Bahin Yojana e-KYC online, follow these steps.

Step 1: Go to the Mukhayamnatri Ladki Bahin Yojana web portal. The website is in Marathi, you can use Google Translate to convert the text to English.

Step 2: Create an account or log in.

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar Card number and the captcha code. Tick the Aadhaar Authentication consent and tap on ‘Get OTP’.

Step 4: Upload the required documents such as Aadhaar card, Domicile certificate, income certificate etc, along with necessary personal details.

Step 5: Once all your documents are uploaded, click on ‘Submit’ and your e-KYC is complete.
