Intermittent issues at CDSL
On 18th November 2022 - CDSL (Central Depository Services Ltd) faced intermittent issues due to which, there was an industry-wide impact on a few transactions.
What is the impact?
- On authorisation of MTF positions
Some of you may have seen this error ‘Your request failed due to timeout’ while trying to authorise your MTF positions yesterday, 18th November 2022. We’ll notify you with the next steps after speaking with CDSL.
- On fund withdrawals
If you have placed fund withdrawal requests on the 18th and 19th of November, there will be a delay in receiving your funds today.
- On Mutual Funds transactions
Any Mutual Funds units bought on 17th November might not be visible in your Demat account. And sell Mutual Fund transactions on 18th November might not get processed.
- On holdings and positions
Holdings and P&L values for orders placed yesterday, 18th November are not updated yet. Hence you’ll see yesterday’s values today. They will be updated by today's EOD.
Does this impact my existing trades?
Don’t worry your funds and securities are safe, there is no impact on your holdings, positions or funds.
