Rico Auto Industries Limited is a leading auto ancillaries company. The company is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of auto spare parts and accessories.

It was established in March 1983 and was converted into a public limited company in April 1985. The company specialises in the manufacturing of automotive components, including rear and front wheel hubs, clutches, brake systems, engine housings, crank housings and others.

Rico Auto Industries Limited, over the years, expanded its product portfolio to gears and oil pumps for cars, as well as gear shift drums for two-wheelers. Rico Auto Industries Limited has also incorporated pressure die-casting machines to facilitate the production of diesel-generating sets, engine frames and housings.

It also manufactures and sells machined aluminium and ferrous components along with assemblies to automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. The company offers integrated services including design, development, tooling, casting, machining and assembly across both ferrous and aluminium product lines. The company's customers include popular names such as BMW, Hero, Maruti, Toyota, Renault, Nissan, Tata Cummins and others.

The company also ventured into emerging electric vehicles and hybrid vehicle components since 2019. It has been supplying its products to BMW, Toyota, Stellantis (PSA), Renault, Aisin and Musashi for motor and transmissions.

Rico possesses over 1500 machines, including computer numerical controls (CNCs) and special purpose machines (SPMs), making it one of the largest machining facilities in India. The company manages a network of more than 40 sub-suppliers. The company’s products include a diverse range of components such as sintered, rubber and seals, sheet metal, friction material, precision machined components, bearings, springs and fabricated parts.

Rico Auto Industries Limited operates across 15 manufacturing plants and one office in India. The company has a presence in two countries, with two offices supporting its operations on the global front. In terms of market reach, Rico serves five states in India and extends its operations to two countries internationally.

The company caters to OEM and Tier-I customers in North America, Mexico and Brazil through Rico Auto Industries Inc., USA. It is involved in the trading of auto components and offers warehousing, logistics and last-mile support to the customers. Rico Auto Industries (UK) Limited, UK, operates in the trading of auto components and similar services in the European markets for goods produced by Rico Auto Industries Limited.

Its another subsidiary, AAN Engineering Industries Limited, manufactures components and subsystems within the defence and aerospace industry. It currently produces machined metal components for both mechanical and electronic fuse assembly.

In FY23, the company started the production of paper-based friction material for clutch applications in Gurugram. The company's three subsidiary companies namely Rasa Autocom Limited, Rico Aluminium and Ferrous Auto Components Limited and Rico Investments Limited, merged with the parent entity in 2023.

The company’s revenue from operations in FY23 stood at ₹2,302.37 crore, up 23.6% compared to ₹1,861.17 crore in FY22. Its profit after tax (PAT) in FY23 increased to ₹51.03 crore compared to ₹23.72 crore during the previous year. The company's earnings per share (EPS) stood at ₹3.62 in FY23 compared to ₹1.75 in FY22.
