About DAVANGERE SUGAR COMPANY L
Davangere Sugar Company Limited is an India-based company, which is engaged in the business of sugar manufacturing (by-product molasses) from sugarcane and co-generation of electricity power. The Company's segments include Sugar, Co-generation, Aviation, Distillery, and Others. It is focused in the sector of sugar, ethanol and co-generation industry. The Company is producing green energy by installing molasses/sugar syrup and grain-based ethanol unit. Its manufacturing capacity of sugar is approximately 4750 tons of cane per day (TCD), distillery is 65 kilo liters per day (KLPD). Its co-generation power plant, occupying 1,23,018 square feet, boasts an installed capacity of 24.45 megawatts (MWs) per day. The Company’s sugar unit buildings span an area of approximately 2,83,874 square feet. Additionally, the Company has five warehouses, with a combined capacity to store over six lakh quintals of sugar.
