S&P BSE SENSEX on Tuesday ended 147.7 points up at 74,602.12, while NIFTY50 settled 0.03% down at 22,547.55.

Top gainers on NIFTY50 on February 25 were Tata Investment Corporation, Kaveri Seed Company and Adani Power, while the top losers were Dr Lal Pathlabs, Can Fin Homes and Aditya Birla Real Estate.

Jio Financial Services shares on Tuesday are trading lower by over 1% on Tuesday at ₹226 apiece. The stock hit its 52-week low of ₹217.01 on February 18.

Zomato and Jio Financial stocks are ready to join the NIFTY50 index from March 28, 2025 in place of Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Britannia Industries.

Shares of Tata Chemicals hit their 52-week low of ₹827.3 apiece on the NSE on Tuesday. The stock is currently 0.7% down at ₹830.30 per share.

Nilkamal shares slipped 0.9% to ₹1,597 apiece, hitting its 52-week low on the NSE on February 25. The stock is now back in the green at ₹1,616.75, up 0.29%.

The stock of Bajaj Electricals plunged by 1.8% to its yearly low of ₹635.55 apiece on the NSE today. The company's shares are currently 1.5% lower at ₹637.

Apollo Tyres shares also hit their 52-week low on Tuesday, declining 0.75% to ₹398.3 apiece on the NSE. The stock is trading 0.36% down at ₹399.90 at 1:39 pm.

Tata Investment Corporation shares on Tuesday jumped by as much as 10.3% to ₹6,343.80 apiece on the BSE after Tata Capital said that the company's board has given a go-ahead for its initial public offering (IPO).

Equity benchmark indices are trading in the green with SENSEX at 74,623.59, up 169 points. NSE is flat with a positive bias at 22,568.10.

Shares of Tata Communications are trading lower by over 2% on Tuesday. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹41,329 crore.

Stock markets are closed tomorrow, February 26, for the occasion of Maha Shivratri. All trading activities in equity, equity derivatives and commodity markets will not be functional. This is the first trading holiday of the 2025 calendar year.

Banks in Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh. Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh will also remain closed on Wednesday, February 26.

Shares of Orchid Pharma on Tuesday hit their 5% upper circuit limit of ₹1,014.45 apiece on the BSE.

S&P BSE SENSEX on February 25 climbed 117.57 points to 74,571.98 in early trade and NSE Nifty jumped 31.3 points to 22,584.65.

In the last five trading sessions, BSE plunged by 2% (1,542.45 points) and NIFTY lost 406.15 points (1.76%).

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) offloaded equities worth ₹6,286.70 crore on Monday, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought equities worth ₹5,185.65 crore, according to exchange data.

Gold prices surged in early trade on Tuesday, February 25, following its overnight gains in global markets on looming trade war fears.
