During the intraday trade, the share of the company jumped 7.34% to ₹136.75 apiece. However, TVS Supply closed at ₹132, rising 3.61% on the 30-share index.
Last week, on February 13, TVS Motor Company had bought additional shares of TVS Supply Chain Solutions for ₹107 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data available on the BSE, TVS Motor Co purchased 67.10 lakh shares, amounting to a 1.52% stake in TVS Supply Chain Solutions. The shares were acquired at an average price of ₹159.42 apiece, taking the transaction value to ₹106.97 crore.
After the stake buy, TVS Motor Company's holding in R-Dinesh-promoted TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) increased to 3.91% from 2.39% last week.
TVS Supply Chain reported a year-on-year (YoY) net loss of ₹23.8 crore in the December quarter as compared to a profit of ₹10 crore. However, its revenue for the quarter under review rose 10% to ₹2,444.6 crore as against ₹2,221.8 crore a year ago.
The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at ₹132.6 crore as compared to ₹162.1 crore a year ago. EBITDA margin stood at 5.4% during the reporting quarter as against 7.3% in Q3FY24.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions is a part of TVS Mobility Group. It is the largest and fastest-growing integrated supply chain solution. The company was promoted by the erstwhile TVS Group and is now part of the TVS Mobility Group.
