Coforge Limited: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given the green light to the information technology (IT) company's plan to obtain a majority stake in Cigniti Technologies. In May, the board of Coforge allowed the acquisition of a 54% stake in Cigniti Technologies.
CE Info Systems: Rakesh Kumar Verma, promoter of MapmyIndia-owner CE Info Systems, is planning to sell 0.9% of the company's equity via a block deal valued ₹114.6 crore, according to media reports.
Yes Bank: The private sector lender said it will raise funds on August 23 through the issue of debt securities. "The options could be non-convertible debentures (NCDs), bonds, or Medium-Term Notes (MTN), among others," the bank said.
UltraTech Cement: UltraTech Cement Middle East Investments Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UltraTech Cement, on Tuesday said that it will acquire 25% of the share capital of UAE-based Ras Al Khaimah Co for White Cement and Construction Materials PSC (RAKWCT), making a revision to its earlier proposal of acquiring 31.6% stake in the company.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) has granted Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders "Navratna" status. With this, it has become the 18th PSU to get this recognition.
National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC): The state-owned company intends to raise ₹12,000 crore via non-convertible debentures. The company said in an exchange filing that the discussion on fundraising will take place on June 29.
