Shares of Kalpataru International closed 1.3% lower on Tuesday amid broader selling in the market. The company announced new order wins on Tuesday in the transmission and distribution segment.

Kalpataru Projects International (KPIL) has secured new orders/notification of awards of ₹1,241 crore. This includes orders in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in India and overseas market. Besides, it secured Residential and Commercial Building projects in India. These new orders has further strengthen the company's order book with Year to date (YTD) order inflows reaching over ₹11,000 crore.

Earlier in September the company announced another order win worth ₹2,774 crore. The company received orders in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in overseas markets, an EPC project for the Extension of an Airport from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and a Design & Build project for residential buildings in India.

The company saw a minor change in the total revenue in the June 2024 quarter. The total revenue for the quarter stood at ₹3722 crore against ₹3622 crore during the year-ago period. The Company's Net profit for the June 2024 quarter has declined marginally to₹117 crore as against ₹126 crore reported during the corresponding quarter. The operating profit remained unchanged at ₹343 crore.
