Super Iron Foundry IPO allotment status is expected to be finalised on Monday, March 17, following the successful subscription.
The initial public offering of Super Iron Foundry Ltd managed to sail through on the last day of bidding on Thursday, March 13. The BSE SME issue closed with an overall subscription of 1.61 times, after a lukewarm response from investors on the first two days of bidding.
The ₹68.05-crore IPO received bids for over 96.79 lakh shares against 59.85 lakh shares on offer.
The retail investors placed bids for more than 53.55 lakh shares against 29.92 lakh equity shares set aside for them. The retail portion was booked 1.79 times on the last day.
The non-institutional investors (NIIs) placed applications for over 43.23 lakh shares against the quota of 29.92 lakh equity shares. The NIIs segment was booked 1.44 times.

Durgapur, West Bengal-based Super Iron Foundry Ltd is a producer of various iron castings products which are used in various sectors such as construction projects, roadway construction, telecom and utility networks. These products are also used in agricultural and automotive equipment.
The company manufactures foundry cast-iron counterweights, municipal castings, ductile iron pipe fittings, railway castings, ductile iron automotive castings, and ductile iron agricultural castings (rollers and crosskills).
Super Iron Foundry is an exporter of products compliant with international standards like EN124.
According to its RHP, Super Iron Foundry will use IPO proceeds for funding working capital needs, debt repayment and for general corporate purposes.
It will utilise ₹29 crore for meeting working capital requirements and an estimated ₹16 crore towards pre-payment or scheduled repayment of secured loans availed from UCO Bank and Tata Capital Ltd.
Super Iron Foundry reported a profit after tax of ₹9.52 crore for April-December FY25 over revenue of ₹44.98 crore for the period.
Super Iron Foundry had posted a profit after tax of ₹3.94 crore in FY 2023-24 compared to ₹1.28 crore in FY 2022-23. The company had posted revenue of ₹68.04 crore in the financial year 2023-24 against ₹55.32 crore in FY 2022-23.
