We’d like to notify you that from 01st March, 2024 an interest of 0.05% per day will be applicable on any negative (debit) ledger balance in your Upstox account.

If you don’t have sufficient funds, we will need to liquidate any collateral available under margin pledge or CUSPA to recover such a debit balance.

As per SEBI’s latest circular, all brokers need to settle accounts of all clients on the first Friday of every quarter i.e. October 2022, January 2023, April 2023, July 2023 and so on. If the first Friday is a trading holiday, then such settlement shall happen on the previous trading day.

This means, all unutilised funds from your Upstox account will be transferred back to your registered bank account by Friday, 7th October EOD

On account of technical glitches on HDFC Bank’s payment gateway, Google Pay has been disabled and you may be unable to add funds using an HDFC Bank account. This Saturday, 15th August 2020 is a bank holiday. Hence, all fund withdrawal requests placed after 8 AM on Friday, 14th August will be processed on Monday, 17th August.
