D-Link (India) Ltd is a public limited company that provides computer networking solutions and technology. The company is a part of Taiwan-based global networking major D-Link Corporation. D-Link (India) Ltd markets and distributes networking products in India and SAARC region.

D-Link is a global leader in computer networking solutions and technology that help connect people, businesses and cities. Its products and services cater to the needs of digital home consumers, enterprise environments, small to medium-sized businesses and service providers.

The company has been manufacturing networking gear for the past 30 years. D-Link was founded in 1986 by Ken Kao and six of his friends as Datex Systems Inc to market network adapters. In 1987, it was officially established to provide high-quality networking solutions to global consumers and enterprises of all sizes. The company in 1992 changed its name to D-Link Corporation.

Its Indian entity, D-Link (India) Ltd, is listed on NSE and BSE. D-Link (India) is a major market player with a nationwide reach, diverse product portfolio and services in India. D-Link India has 13 branch offices with service support infrastructure present PAN India.

D-Link (India) has substantial autonomy and functions largely as an independent entity, which is backed by the global resources at D-Link headquarters. The company is also committed to sourcing an increasing quantity of its products from local vendors in line with the Government of India’s emphasis on ‘Make in India’.

Business operations

D-Link (India) Ltd offers solutions under two verticals - Home solutions and Business solutions.

Consumer Solutions: D-Link offers the widest range of home networking solutions with Wi-Fi routers, Wi-Fi range extenders, whole home Wi-Fi mesh systems, adapters and switches. The company has also introduced AI-enabled home Wi-Fi.

The company also offers network equipment such as surveillance cameras, switches and smart home accessories. Last year, it introduced Made in India range of surveillance solutions named the ‘Indigenous Series’. D-Link Indigenous series range includes a range of IP-based cameras and network video recorders and D-Link camera video management software.

Business solutions: The company offers network equipment like switches, wireless solutions, IP surveillance equipment, industrial mainframes, structural cabling and accessories to business enterprises.

D-Link wireless networking solutions empower business networks of any size without breaking the bank. D-Link’s wireless portfolio includes Wi-Fi 6 Access points, software managed and controller managed access points and wireless controllers.

Its structural cabling portfolio includes copper cabling, fiber cabling and FTTH (Fiber To The Home) solutions and are a perfect choice for any business looking to build an intelligent business network.

TeamF1 Networks

D-Link (India) Ltd’s subsidiary TeamF1 Networks provides customized embedded software solutions to diverse industry segments. It is empowering domestic manufacturers and OEMs to add intelligence to their hardware.

TeamF1, which was founded in 200, was acquired by D-Link in June 2014. The independently operated subsidiary provides Wi-Fi management, network security and component software.

D Link India market capitalisation stood at ₹1,093 crore as of February 27, 2024. D Link India shares have increased 173% in the last three years.

Financial Highlights

– The company’s consolidated revenue from operations in FY23 stood at ₹1,180.59 crore as against ₹9,18.32 crore in FY22. – Its consolidated net profit stood at ₹86.36 crore in FY23 as against ₹42.28 crore in FY22. – The earning per share (EPS) rose to ₹24.32 in FY23 from ₹11.91 in FY22.
