Eicher Motors shares rally to new high on strong business updates for December

Eicher Motors’ motorcycle division reported a 25.37% rise in sales to 79,466 units in December 2024, compared to 63,387 motorcycles sold in December 2023.

The company’s sales of models with engine capacity up to 350 cc increased by 25.41% to 69,476 units in December 2024, compared to 55,401 units in the same period a year ago.

The company's sales of Models with engine capacity exceeding 350 cc increased by 25.09% to 9,990 units in December 2024, compared to 7,986 units in December last year. The company’s sales from International Business increased by 90% to 11,575 units in December 2024, compared to 6,096 units in the same period last year.

In the quarter ended September 2024, the company witnessed a 6.99% growth in revenue to ₹4205 crore, compared to ₹3930 crore during the year-ago period. A modest increase of 7.61% in Net Profit was reported from ₹938 crore to ₹1009 crore. Operating profit saw a handsome growth to ₹1442 crore from ₹1373.4 crore in the quarter ended September 2024.
