The mainboard IPOs of Emcure Pharma Ltd and Bansal Wire Industries Ltd closed with a strong subscription on the third and final day of bidding. The ₹1,952.03-crore IPO of Emcure Pharma was booked 67.85 times while the Bansal Wire IPO was subscribed 59.57 times.

It was an action-packed day for the primary market on Friday, July 5, as five IPOs were open for subscription, and a small and medium enterprise (SME) IPO made its stock market debut with a bumper listing. Of late, most IPOs have been witnessing strong buying interest by retail as well as non-institutional investors (NIIs). All five IPOs that were open for subscription today saw healthy buying interest.

On the other hand, shares of Nephro Care India IPO were listed at a strong premium of 90% to the issue price on the NSE SME platform, Emerge.

Here is a summary of all the action in the IPO market today.

Nephro Care India IPO lists at a premium

After witnessing a solid overall subscription of its initial public offering (IPO) at 715.78 times, shares of Nephro Care India made a stellar debut on the NSE SME platform on Friday. The stock was listed at a premium of 90% at ₹171 apiece against the issue price of ₹90. It rose another 5% during the session to hit an intraday high of ₹179.55 apiece and maintained the rally at the same level till the closing of the markets. The stock has almost doubled from the issue price in the debut trade.

An entirely fresh issue of 45.84 lakh equity shares, aimed at raising ₹41.26 crore, the Nephro Care India IPO opened for subscription on Friday, June 28 and closed on Tuesday, July 2. The price band of the issue was ₹85 to ₹90 per share.

Effwa Infra & Research IPO

The ₹51.27 crore Effwa Infra & Research IPO opened for subscription today. On the first day of the bidding, the issue was subscribed 17 times, receiving bids for over 7.12 crore shares against 41,79,200 shares offered. The retail segment saw a subscription of 29.41 times, while the NIIs’ portion was booked 10.57 times.

The issue will close for subscription on Tuesday July 9.

Ganesh Green Bharat Limited IPO

Ganesh Green Bharat Limited IPO, a fresh issue of 65.91 lakh shares aimed at raising ₹125.23 crore opened for subscription on July 5. The public issue will close on July 9.

On day 1, the issue was subscribed 12.28 times, with bids for over 5.40 crore shares against 44,02,200 on offer. The retail segment was subscribed 18 times, with bids for 3.91 crore shares against 21.68 lakh shares on offer for the category. The NIIs’ portion was booked 8.34 times, while the QIBs’ segment was subscribed 5.78 times.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited IPO

The ₹1,952.03 crore IPO, which was a combination of a fresh issue and an offer for sale, closed for subscription on Friday, July 5.

The issue witnessed an overall subscription of 67.85 times, receiving bids for over 92.97 crore shares against 1.37 crore shares offered. The retail segment was subscribed by 7.19 times while the NIIs’ portion saw a subscription of 48.29 times. The QIBs’ portion was subscribed 195.83 times.

The allotment of shares is expected to be finalised on Monday, July 8, and the company's shares may be listed on Wednesday, July 10, on the BSE and the NSE.

Bansal Wire Industries IPO

Bansal Wire Industries IPO closed for subscription on Friday, with an overall subscription of 59.57 times. Bids were received for 127.85 crore shares against 2.14 crore shares offered.

The retail portion was subscribed 13.64 times while the NIIs’ segment was subscribed 51.46 times. The QIBs’ portion was subscribed 146.05 times.

The shares allotment for the IPO is expected to be finalised on Monday, July 8. The tentative listing date for the shares has been fixed as July 10.

Ambey Laboratories Limited IPO

It was the second day of subscription for Ambey Laboratories Limited IPO. The issue saw an overall subscription of over 42 times with bids for 17.1 crore shares against 40.42 crore shares on offer. The public issue will close for bidding on July 8.

The NSE SME IPO of the agrochemicals producer is a book-building issue worth ₹44.68 crore. The public offer comprises a fresh issue of 62.58 lakh shares worth ₹42.55 crore and an offer for sale of 3.12 lakh shares aggregating to ₹2.12 crore. The IPO price band has been fixed at ₹65 to ₹68 per share.
