Brightcom Group Q2 FY24 results: Net profit rises 6%, revenue at ₹112 crore; check details

Brightcom Group is yet to release its financial results for the third quarter of FY24.

Digital marketing company Brightcom Group has released its financial results for the July-September quarter of fiscal year 2023-24. The Q2 FY24 data was disclosed on Tuesday at 11 pm, meeting its previous commitment to declare results by June 11.

The company's standalone revenue from operations for the second quarter stood at ₹112.1 crore, down 0.7% from ₹113 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The standalone net profit for the September quarter increased 6% to ₹63.3 lakh from ₹59.7 lakh in the same period last fiscal.

The EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortisation) dropped to ₹1 crore from ₹3.92 crore in the year-ago period.

The company's total expenses were ₹111.1 crore for the period, while the cost of sales and services were recorded at ₹84.7 crore.

The firm is yet to release its financial results for the third quarter of FY24.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) had said that trading in shares of Brightcom Group will be suspended from Friday, June 14, till the company complies with the master circular.

"After 15 days of suspension, trading in the securities of non-compliant Company would be allowed on Trade for Trade basis in (Z category) on the first trading day of every week for six months," the circular said.

The NSE had added, "Brightcom Group Limited has not complied with requirement of Regulation 33 (i.e. Submission of Financial Results) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 ("Listing Regulations") for two consecutive quarters' i.e. September 30, 2023 and December 31, 2023".

Shares of Brightcom group hit the upper circuit on Tuesday to close at ₹10.41 on the NSE.
