Gold and silver price on February 19: Gold prices advance on firm global trends, silver slips

Gold prices rose for the third day on Wednesday, February 19, following firm global trends. In early trade, the precious metal advanced to ₹86,960 per 10 grams in Mumbai and other major cities, following a ₹550 jump on the previous day.

The 24K gold had increased to ₹86,950 per 10 grams and the 22K gold by ₹500 to ₹79,700 per 10 grams on Tuesday. Gold prices traded above $2,900 an ounce in overnight trade ahead of the release of FOMC minutes. In early Asian trade on Wednesday, spot gold rose by marginally up $2,935 an ounce.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold traded at ₹87,110 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹79,860, up by ₹10 per 10 grams. The 24K gold in Mumbai traded at ₹86,960 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹79,710 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (February 19, 2025)

Silver prices eased by ₹100 to ₹1,00,400 per kg due to weak local demand. Losses in the white metal in global markets as the US dollar regained 107 levels also weighed on the metal. Spot silver declined by 0.87% to $32.60 an ounce in early Asian Trade on Wednesday.
