TCS CEO quits

The IT service provider said its managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) Rajesh Gopinathan has resigned from the company. K Krithivasan has been appointed the new CEO designate of the company. 

 

⭐ Britannia’s croissant sales crosses ₹100 crore  

Biscuit maker announced that its Treat croissant business had crossed ₹100 crore in revenue within a year of its launch. According to management, the company is now targeting a sales revenue of ₹300 crore in the next three years.

 

⭐ Microfinance loans see robust growth  

As per new industry data, the gross loan portfolio of the microfinance industry grew by over 25% YoY to ₹3.2 lakh crore during the third quarter of FY23. Microfinance companies give small loans to low-income groups and source their funds from banks to do business. According to experts, growth in microfinance loans is an encouraging sign for the Indian economy.
