SBI to raise funds

Shares of the State Bank of India settled higher on Tuesday. The public sector lender said that its board has approved evaluating long-term fund-raising in single or multiple tranches up to $2 billion. Meanwhile, the OI of the SBI April futures contract fell 6.0%, indicating a short covering.

NTPC plans to ramp up capacity

NTPC shares ended with gains on Monday after the country’s largest power generator said it hopes to commission 3.5 GW of capacity by 2030 from its two nuclear plants under construction. Meanwhile, the OI of the NTPC April futures contract fell 1.0%, indicating a short covering.

⭐Tata Chemicals slumps 5%

Tata Chemicals shares fell more than 5% after the company slashed light and dense soda ash prices by 3-4% across the country. Meanwhile, the OI of Tata Chemicals April futures contract fell 18.8%, indicating a short build-up.
