⭐ Pfizer reports lackluster results
Pharmaceutical company Pfizer (+1.3%) posted a 3.1% growth in net profit to ₹129.6 crore in Q4FY23, compared to ₹125.7 crore in the same quarter last year. Its revenue from operations grew 4.1% YoY to ₹572.6 crore. In view of the gain on sale of a business undertaking at Thane the company announced a special dividend of ₹5, taking the total recommended dividend to ₹40 per share.
⭐ PCBL posts a profit
Carbon black manufacturer, PCBL (+2.3%) posted a 15.8% rise in its Q4 consolidated profit to ₹102.2 crore. Its profit in the comparable quarter last year was ₹88.2 crore. The revenue from operations grew 12.7% to ₹1,373.8 crore in the same period from ₹1,218.8 crore generated in Q4FY22.
⭐ Skipper's profit down
Manufacturer of power transmission and distribution structures, Skipper Ltd (-2.2%) reported a 3.4% decline in net profit to ₹23.7 crore from ₹24.5 crore posted in the same quarter last year. However, on the positive side the company reported its highest ever quarterly revenue at ₹657.4 crore, an increase of 18.9% over the same quarter last year. The company also stated it has bagged new orders worth ₹410 crore in Q4FY23.
