Investment objective
With the pandemic disrupting the global economy, Kotak Global Innovation FoF aims to provide exposure to companies which are at the forefront of innovating and capitalising on new trends. By investing in this scheme, investors can take advantage of futuristic themes like machine learning, automotive evolution and digital banking.
The scheme will invest money in UK-based Wellington Global Innovation Fund, which holds between 40 and 70 companies at any given point including global giants like Amazon, Alphabet and Facebook. The $444 million fund has created a high conviction portfolio with a long-term perspective.
The fund has beaten its benchmark index since its inception in February 2017.
