Stocks in the news

NCC

  • NCC has bagged an order worth ₹833 crore from a subsidiary of Coal lndia Ltd.
  • The company’s press release doesn’t mention the duration of the order completion, NCC’s FY20 consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹8,901 crore.
  • The stock is up 2.2%.

Larsen & Toubro

  • As per reports, L&T has emerged as lowest bidder for yet another mega contract for the bullet train, at ₹7,289 crore.
  • Recently, it had won contract worth ₹24,985 crore for a segment of bullet train project.
  • The shares of L&T are up 1.0%.

Tata Motors

  • For October, domestic sales volume for passenger cars sees a solid bounce back – 79% YoY and 11% sequentially.
  • Similarly, for commercial vehicles (trucks and buses) domestic sales volumes were flattish on YoY basis but grew 12% sequentially.
  • The stock is up 2.2%.
