⭐ LIC premium collection rise
State-owned Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) total premium collection rose by 16.7% YoY to ₹2.32 lakh crore, giving it a market share of 62.5% as on March 2023. Meanwhile, private insurers like HDFC Life saw an 18.8% rise in the premium collection, while SBI Life’s collections grew by 16.2%.
⭐ Mahindra Lifespace bags new project
The real estate arm of Mahindra Group has secured a redevelopment residential society project in Mumbai. According to the company, this project has a revenue potential of around ₹850 crore.
⭐ Century Textile Q4 net profit rise
The textile firm has reported over 69% YoY rise in its consolidated profits to ₹142 crore for the quarter ended 31 March 2023. Meanwhile, its sales were flat during the quarter at ₹1,187 crore. The company said its pulp and paper business performed well, backed by robust sales, process improvements, and impactful cost-reduction initiatives. In addition, the company also declared a dividend of ₹5 per share.
