⭐Kotak Bank beats street estimates

The private sector lender's net profit jumped 26% YoY to ₹3,496 crore for the March quarter. The strong growth in the profit was led by expansion in its net interest income(NII), which jumped 36% YoY to ₹6,103 crore. Meanwhile, the OI of its May futures contract rose 2% —indicating a long build-up.

Shares of the IT company surged over 2% on Friday, while the OI of its May futures contract fell by over 5% —indicating short-covering. This comes after the IT company's net profit increased 0.5% YoY to ₹1,141 crore in Q4FY23. However, the company's revenue rose 22% to ₹8,691 crore.
⭐IDFC First Bank's net profit doubles
